Trail Life USA
A new organization in the Tri-Cities seeking leaders and participants. Most guys want an exciting outdoor adventure with their friends. We’ve got that! Trips and travel? That, too. Camping. Check. The physical and mental challenge? Yep. And awards? Of course! Trail Life USA is a Christian adventure, character, and leadership program for young men. The K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers. Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible.

The Oasis of Kingsport
The Oasis is a Christ-centered women’s day center where women are considered “guests.” Guests can do 2 loads of laundry (including the laundry products), get free haircuts, take free hot showers with towels and toiletries provided, and utilize free WIFI and computer access for job searching and college applications. Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN
Holston Valley Medical Center has several volunteer opportunities: Main Lobby/Reception, CCU Waiting Area, Waterfall Lobby, Guest Services, Same-Day Surgery, Outpatient Radiology, Beverage Cart, Mail/Magazine Delivery. Heavenly Homes (aka The Big Black Bus)
Heavenly Homes (aka The Big Black Bus) parks near Munsey Memorial Presbyterian in downtown Johnson City every Sunday morning at 8:30 am. Bus Director, Tom Campbell, and volunteers provide a place to warm up, get a cup of hot coffee, a fresh doughnut, and other needed items such as winter wear, blankets and health, and beauty aids. They also minister to the people one on one as well as have a time of worship and Bible study. Colonial Heights Christian Church Food Ministry
Welcomes volunteers to help with weekly food distributions, which take place at the church every Monday from 8 – 11 a.m., and with monthly food deliveries, which are made every second Saturday and begin at 8:30 a.m. Canned food donations are also accepted.
