Come out to Fairview Farm & Homestead 908 Hillman Highway Abingdon VA 24210 on May 3, 2024 from 1:00 pm till 4:40 pm and Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 9 am till 4:30 pm to see how life was lived during the Civil War. This will be a great opportunity to talk to the soldiers and learn more about the American Civil War. We will have demonstrations on camp life, period firearms, dismounted and mounted cavalry, cannon station, Civil War surgeon, blacksmith, quilting, 1800’s cabin (time period decorated).
On May 3, 2024 from 9 am till 1pm, we will be open to private schools and homeschoolers. Please let me know if you are interested in coming and how many. You can text 276-477-0212.
